Tradução intercultural e aprendizagem em diáspora: senegaleses em Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul

This research is part of the doctoral thesis in the Postgraduate Program in Education at Universidade Católica Dom Bosco, through which I look at myself and at the “other”, considering important categories such as social class, gender, cultural condition, ontological, epistemological, permeated by imagery signs, ethical, aesthetic and political movements. This “other” are Senegalese living in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul. A researcher-subjects plateau is invented in this research, avoiding slipping into binarism. Using this only as a starting point, there is a female-white-feminist researcher and Africans, immigrants, blacks, heteronormative research collaborators. The (anti) method used is the rhizome, social cartography and schizoanalysis, through which data is produced from events in the field and plateaus are invented. In this process, I perceive the Senegalese community hybridizing, sometimes invisible in the universities, composed of social actors who reinvent themselves and translate into the daily life of social interactions, living sometimes with curious hospitality, sometimes silenced in the face of prejudice, in the face of the difficulty of Communication. Such actors transgress the structural markers of Brazilian-style racism, by remaining in informal commerce, by producing spaces of resistance called dahiras, and by dialoguing in a complex and artistic way with Brazilian and Campo Grande society that surrounds them.
