Abstract

This article describes briefly the growth of the circulation of Brazilian images and cultural goods in London, and the relation between this intensification and Brazilian immigration in this last decade. From 2000 there were an increase of cultural styles, trends and goods about Brazil, which gave more visibility about the country and allowed the emergence of new cultural products. Brazilian immigration helped in the transnational increment of such images, and they influenced experience of Brazilians at the same time that put them in constant process of identity reconfigurations.
