Abstract

This article is the result of field research on the religions of immigrants and refugees at the Missão Scalabriniana Nossa Senhora a Paz em São Paulo. The Missão Paz offers various services to immigrants and refugees. Maintained by the Catholic Church, through the Congregation of the Missionaries of St. Charles Scalabrinians, it seeks to integrate people in mobility who seek it in various aspects: welcome, work, documentation, culture, religion, citizenship, education, health, housing, etc. In this descriptive article, we highlight the possibilities of insertion from the religious experiences of the institution that are fruits of plural religious experiences brought by many immigrants and refugees.
