o caso dos imigrantes chilenos no Paraná

Abstract

In this work will be presented a matrix analysis of occupational mobility of Chilean immigrants in the Paraná State, Brazil, from 1980 until 2011. Was considered as process mobility professional position they had in the country of origin and the position obtained in Brazil. The methodology used was Matrix Mobility, quantifying the ascending, descending, immobility and mobility conditions Success and Non-Success. The paper concludes that the fact immigrate to Brazil allowed the Chilean immigrants obtain opportunities to grow professionally since moved to equal and higher categories with respect to that occupied in Chile, resulting openness shown by the Brazilian labor market for most immigrants, as well as the good professional level available.
