This article discusses the exploitation of the workforce of Haitians who have moved to work in the textile industry in the northwest of the state of Paraná. The objective is to understand the emergence of the migratory trajectories that these subjects undertook between 2010 and 2016 and their consequences, with regard to the world of work. The discussion is presented based on an approach that recognizes migratory trajectories as part of a complex process with an expanded scale, whose ultimate purpose is to meet the needs of functioning of the global labor market. The text begins with the presentation of data on the dynamics of international migration between the years 1990 and 2016; ahead, the main trends that led Brazil to assume an interface role in the context of international migratory trajectories are outlined; then, the particularities of Haitian society, a country of emigration on the periphery of capitalism, are discussed; and problematize - based on the results of the stage of qualitative research interviews, carried out between the years 2015 and 2018 -, the precarious and limited incorporation in the Brazilian labor world, demonstrating the way in which capital exploits this workforce. It is concluded that migrant workers are effective in reducing costs, lowering wages and precarious working conditions in the context of textile production
