As contribuições de Sayad e Fanon para compreender as consequências enfrentadas pelo sujeito migrante na sociedade pós-colonial

Abstract

The present text seeks to address the racial and migratory issues faced by Cuban physicians who came to Brazil through the Federal Government’s Mais Medicos (PMM) Program. In view of this, it is intended to discuss such issues since they are related, historically, to Brazilian society. In this context, the text seeks as theoretical reference authors who approach the racial and migratory issue, through a post-colonial perspective. In particular, we highlight Frantz Fanon and Abdelmalek Sayad, who are fundamental for discussing conflicting relationships, especially linked to immigration, within Brazilian society.
