A precarização do trabalho do imigrante haitiano em São Paulo

Abstract

This article intends to analyze the situation of Haitian immigrants in the city of São Paulo, seeking to anchor the reflection from the centrality of labor. We seek to understand how the labor insertion of this group occurs in the economic reproduction context and the impact in the social life and in the metropolitan space. We intend to uncover if the activities carried out by these immigrants in Brazil can be considered precarious based on the academic background, salaries, working hours and activities that they carried out in their country of origin before migrating.
