The return of Mexican migrants from the United States, due to the economic crises of 2007-2008, anti-immigrant policies and mass deportations, questions the economic, political and institutional structure of the country, the states and municipalities and poses the challenge of generate new public policies that support the reintegration of returned migrants and their families by all the social actors of the migratory phenomenon. Under this perspective, the participation of migrant organizations, Civil Society organizations and the Academy is important, proposing alternatives on public policies and community development with a transnational focus. When the government authorities are lacking in proposals, there is fertile ground for those involved in the phenomenon to appropriate their own agenda and be able to generate serious and concrete proposals. This work is therefore the recount of this road, that of the civil society that is organizing itself and proposing actions to face the return migration.
